The Process of Agriculture introduces students to the five stages every agriculture product goes through as it makes its way from the farm to the table. These stages are production, processing, distribution, marketing, and consumption. Each stage is explained in a separate chapter and each chapter is color coded. Color coding will be identical for each of the five stages and will be uniform throughout the series. If a student wants to see the differences in the way corn and dairy products are marketed, the color coded chapters in both books will make this comparison easy. Presented in easy to read text blocks, illustrated with photos and captions. Important facts about each food source will be highlighted in tinted boxes, and to reinforce their importance, Agri Culture will point out these highlights by speaking directly to the readers by means of a cartoon character's dialog balloon.
