Greek actress Mary Tsoni, star of Oscar-nominated film Dogtooth, found dead aged 30
Greek Actress Mary Tsoni has died aged 30.
According to the Greek Hollywood Reporter, she was found in her apartment on Monday.
The cause of death remains unknown.

She was best known as the star of Dogtooth, which was nominated for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 2011 Oscars.
The body was discovered by her friend and fellow actress Lewsha Camille Simboura.

She posted a message of sorrow on social media, revealing another make friend had tried to administer CPR in vain.

In the Yorgos Lanthimos-directed Dogtooth, Tsoni played the younger of two sisters who are kept with their adult brother in a fenced compound by their parents their whole lives.
It won several awards across the international film festival circuit, and landed Tsoni and her on-screen sister Angeliki Papoulia the Heart of Sarajevo, or Best Actress award.
She also stared in a number of Greek films including 2005's Evil, and opposite Billy Zane in its 2009 sequel Evil - In the Time of Heroes
