Technics SL-1210 M5G Modified READ-Magical-A Special SL1210-M5G ... This is an audiophile quality turntable.

Starting with a mint SL-1210 M5G sent to KAB Electro Acoustics it received

1) KAB Power Supply Modification
2) on/off switch
3) Internal Voltage Regulator,
4) Isonoe Feet.

Then I have added the

1) Jelco SA-750D Tonearm with Interconnect cable and RCA’s
2) Funk Achromat (stock mat also included)
3) Custom Ebony Armboard from the UK
4) upgraded Cartridge wires. Wires not installed on the Technics headshell.

The modifications and additional accessories have substantially improved the sound of this turntable at a cost of about $2000 not including the cost of the stock turntable nor the shipping cost to and from KAB.

I once owned the Technics SL1210G model, Technics $4000 re-entry into the turntable market. This modified SL-1210 M5G sounds better to my ears and a couple friends.
It has no brightness artifact some have complained about the SL-1210G. M. Fremer commented about this is his SL-1210G review.

Everything is in mint, some new, condition and all that has been done to this turntable has elevated it into the “AudioPhile” category. One exception on condition is the cover which is almost mint but does have a couple shallow and faint scratches/abrasion on the front. Hard to see unless up close. I accidently mishandled the cover when removing it in preparation to sending the turntable to KAB for mods.

The SL-1210 M5G is a fine sounding deck in its stock form. Now it truly sounds spectacular. NOTE: A cartridge is Not included. I have a Denon DL103R for sale at $275 if interested. It has four hours max on it.
