The 225,000-ton, 1,187-foot-long Royal Caribbean Allure of the Seas carries 5,400 passengers and is one of the world's largest cruise ships. As such, she has many interior areas for her guests to explore. The Royal Promenade, lined with shops, restaurants, and bars, is one area; and Entertainment Place, with its lively after-dark shows, is another. The Vitality Spa and Fitness Center will help guests to relax and rejuvenate, and the Adventure Ocean kid's area will allow young travelers to experience some great activities while meeting new friends.

These pictures of some of the interior common areas demonstrate the creativity of the Allure of the Seas' designers. When touring the ship, be sure to be on the lookout for the over 7,000 pieces of artwork!

Allure of the Seas Royal Promenade

Royal Promenade on the Allure of the Seas
Royal Caribbean Cruises

The Royal Promenade is similar to those on the Freedom and Voyager class ships of Royal Caribbean (only larger).

One new feature is the parade of the DreamWorks' characters such as Shrek. Since everyone seems to like animated characters, the Royal Caribbean/DreamWorks partnership will add a lot of family fun to the Allure of the Seas. Much like Disney has their characters and NCL has those from Nickelodeon, the DreamWorks characters are seen all over the Allure of the Seas.

The "How to Train Your Dragon" ice show at the Allure of the Seas Studio B Center Ice is a fun adaptation of the DreamWorks movie.

The two ice shows at Studio B Center Ice are very different and entertaining. One is Ice Games and has a Monopoly game theme. The second show is How to Train Your Dragon, which transforms the 90-minute animated movie into a 23-minute ice show. Very fun.
