Ginseng Plus

This place is not as well known as the one in China town but I think they've gained some popularity as they've increased the price of herbal medicine more than 3X! I was happy with them in the beginning back when they haven't increased the price. That lady have that maniac episode, sometimes she's nice sometimes she's rude and likes yelling. Like she's be so nice over text and phone, and then she yell when I get to the store. because the lady that's always there are friendly.

Anyway, let's get into the important part! I complained about a store in China town because I watched them prepare my Chinese herbal medicine, and I was furious to find out how they had been handling my herbal medicine is SO ETHICALLY WRONG. And this lady was very understanding making sure the amount of herbs and every single word of the name matched. That is extremely crucial because Chinese herbal medicine is no joke, one word difference is an entirely different herbs and can be poisonous, can be very damaging compare to western medicine.

I previously noticed she didn't know one of the herbs on my prescription was supposed to be wheat bran fried. She was gonna regular fry it and I asked if she had wheat bran, she said no, so I bought my own wheat brand and fries the herb at home. I'm fine with that as long as they have the herb. You really can't expect much because they have little to ZERO knowledge although they act like they know. So whenever I text her my list, i change it to original herbs because I fry them at home depending how how it's needed to not risk their mishandling.

I've texted her my prescription list a couple of times, and she always make sure everything is correct UNTIL I asked my friend to go get my medicine because I couldn't go and the price increased more than 3X. The very last time, I had to fry one type of herb, so I weight them after frying to divided them equally to prescribed amount, and I noticed she gave me over 30 GRAMS of it, that's a lot! I think she did that to make up the amount of another herb (the amount was way off too) was completely missing. I specifically asked if she had it all and she said she had everything! What a B****! She's playing with my health!

In China, people handling your herbal medicine with caution and accuracy! They're actually experienced and properly trained. These people are so careless, I could not believe it! They all should seriously be fired! They have zero knowledge, very irresponsible and they're a big threat to your health! I'm deeply saddened that Chinese herbal medicine isn't regulated in the U.S! Otherwise they would be in serious trouble!

Take my review seriously and BE WARNED!! You need to ALWAYS watch them very closely as they handle your herbal medicine!

Great spot for healing herbs and ginseng. Reasonable prices and conveniently located across from 168! My go to spot. Unfortunately my folks moved away and now I've got to get my brother to get my stash and bring to us.

I loved the selections of teas here and the lady working there was very nice. Lots of ginseng selections to those who want ginseng!

This is a great place for tea and herbs! Great customer service! The staff was very knowledgeable about my needs and helped me find exactly what i was looking for when i visited the store.

Prices are very reasonable, however they refused to accept my American Express even thought they have AMEX sticker on their front window. You can't refused the card because you don't want to pay the high fee.

This is a very well rounded store that carries a very wide selection including premium ginseng, premium tea leaves, and chinese herbs. Their prices are very competitive. What makes them stand out is their honesty and their customer service. They really know how to fulfill their customers' needs. They are honest about pricing so they will not charge you an arm and a leg just because you don't how much something is worth. I'll definitely visit again next time when I'm at Vegas.
